Windows Service

Stoked to see if this add on works as VideoReDo by itself isn't going to work without a watch folder and ability to move the files based on metadata to it's destination. Was curious if anyone ever tried getting this program to work as a Windows service with NSSM or something simiar?

VAP has a UI, i.e., would not qualify to run in the background as a service. Does NSSM have the ability to work around this? What service-only features are you after?

I have Windows 7 MCE recording shows into my Recorded TV folder. My hope is VAP can monitor that folder and whenever a new show is there, strip out the commercials, re-encode it in MPEG2 format WTV and put all the metadata back into it. If I reboot, would hope this process would just pickup again. Right now I have to manually launch VAP and push a start button to get it monitoring. May be the only way it can work, as I'm just starting to play with it but just my hope.

Thanks.
