I'm satisfied with what I am using. Some of the file search icons (DVD creation) show as blank boxes with three dots (...) but I can live with that. The only feature that I am still looking for is chapter text file creation from a joiner job.
My recordings are all done with mpeg2 capture cards or OTA transport stream capture with ATSC/QAM cards (PCI interface). My cable company went fully encrypted so QAM is now gone. My hardware isn't supported by the newer OS's available, so I couldn't upgrade if I wanted to. Windows 2000 does not need remote activation so I can keep it going regardless of what Microsoft does and I can find PCI slotted motherboards.
