VRDSplit.VBS - what am I doing wrong

I've just discovered VRDSplit.VBS which I'd like to use to output a transport stream from 10 minutes in. Unfortunately I can't seem to get it to work. The command line I'm using is:

C:\PROGRA~2\VIDEOR~1>cscript "c:\Program Files (x86)\VideoredoTvsuite4\VRDSplit.
vbs" -p 2 "c:\tv\temp_tv2\test.ts" "c:\TV\temp_tv2\testsplit_#.ts"

When I press return, the VRD startup window briefly appears before the command line returns

2499.5600112
Outputting: 000 0 1249.7800056 To: c:\TV\temp_tv2\testsplit_000.ts
Error: Problem opening output file: c:\TV\temp_tv2\testsplit_000.ts

What am I doing wrong?

VRDSplit.vbs is written for VRD Plus and VRD-TVS3. To use with TVS4 you'll need to change the following line:

Code:
        ' Open the output file and start processing.
        outputFlag = VideoReDo.FileSaveAsEx( outputFilename, 1 )  ' Default to
 MPEG program stream output.
to:

Code:
        ' Open the output file and start processing.
        outputXML = VideoReDo.FileSaveProfile( outputFilename, profileName )
Where profilename is a string representing one of the existing profiles. For example:

profileName = "MPEG2 Transport Stream"

We need to update this script.

Managed to get this working although the original idea of starting 10 minutes in and saving a 20 minute chunk didn't seem to work.
The next line in the script "if outputFlag = false then....." had to be changed to
"if outputXML = false then....."
I also changed the output to TS and chop the file into 3 chunks rather than start the cut a few minutes in which does what I'm after.
Thanks for your help

Thanks for letting us know that this script is "out of date". In build 612, I fixed it so that it will work for Plus, TVS V3 and TVS H.264 (i.e. profiles). Also find the problem with the start time parameter not always being properly set.
