Video Saved has glitchy playback in MPC-HC

Hi, An old issue I hoped would be fixed from V5 is still an issue in V6-91-6-798a. I've trimmed a 100 MB clip here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1myW579QEMaGGGLzkgI9G9sa91Zwjd4PZ/view?usp=sharing
When you save it as an MKV keeping only the English audio stream the resulting video has glitchy playback (major pixellation every few frames) in Media Player Classic Home Cinema but plays back fine in Window Media Player and in VideoRedo. This is a major problem as a lot of people including me watch videos in MPC-HC on their TV.

Any chance you could fix this please in the next version? Thanks

I'm not sure this is fixable since the problem seems to originate in the MPC-HC libraries. Did some research into your sample, and the problem appears to be that one of the H.264 headers (picture parameter set, PPS) is repeated for every frame. This is highly unusual, but allowed. I looked at removing the extra PPS, but can't because it changes on each frame. Was able to get an mkv output working OK by forcing a recode, but that's obviously not what you want to do.

Have you been able to save with another application to mkv without recoding and get it to play properly?

Also, are you encoding the original .ts file yourself, or did you acquire the source file in this format?

The source .ts file is from a sat feed. It's the original format it was in.

I can remux the video with MKVToolnix and it plays back fine. I don't know of any other actual video editors like VideoRedo that I can use.

Is there any way you can fix this issue in VideoRedo please? I have lots of videos like this every year that I need to be able to edit.

I think we found and fixed the problem in V6. Email me at support and I'll send you an alpha version to test out.
