Just curious.

Are you currently using a camcorder or other device to record video that is not currently supported in VideoReDo?

What other formats are you interested in editing?

Please write to us at support (subject: thread 34004) or discuss below.

Hi
Have a technomate sat receiver, 5402, this record files in HD, .trp extension, each file is aprox 12 mins long.
Have been rendering these to BluRay, using Nero 11, it works fine, but have been looking for a software to possible edit,
and keep the subtitles, these are DVBS closed subtitles, a broadcast can have several tracks of subtitles, but as yet not found a software that can cope with these subtitles. Have tried your Videoredo V4 with H264, as I thought this would cope with subtitles as well. but I have yet to find a video file that it will load, V3 loads every file we have, any comments?

VRD TVSuite was editing my Panasonic DMC-ZS19 AVCHD video files perfectly until I updated it to version 4.21.4.671. I now get the error, "Unable to determine initial clock, details in the log file" every time I try to open one of my 1,000 Panasonic AVCHD videos. I guess I'll have to try down-dating to 667, but I don't have a good feeling about this.

We're referring to files that use codecs other then MPEG-2 or H.264 or containers other then the one we currently support. We're adding some new capabilities to the next major version and we're looking for files to test with.

I bought VideoRedo almost two years ago to edit 60p AVCHD files from my Sony CX700 camcorder. I had problems with the resulting files, and I contacted tech support. Now, several releases later, I can no longer do any combining or editing of multiple files. The latest release is completely broken.

I have various videos recorded with a Blackberry Bold 9780 phone. These are .3GP H263 videos. Any plans on supporting these? Currently I need to convert them to MP4 before loading them up in your rather excellent software.

Here is the output from MediaInfo to describe one of these videos. Can supply a sample vid if you want it.

Hi Dan & Pat.
It's been a while! I'm still using this great program... :)
But now I am capturing surveillance footage that I cannot read in VRD. The files are generated by the Blue Iris program and are supposed to be H264. (.mp4) I can play them in media player etc. but VRD no likey!
I can upload a small sample.
