F-secure did throw a hissyfit when encountering specifically ModuleCollection1.dll during installation of v5 beta 705. Im sure its a false possitive, but still F-secure has to be disabled completly prior to install.

Hmm...when enabling F-secure after install and trying to open the VRD batch manager, F-secure breaks in and removes a file which it thinks have a virus.
705 cant be used or started after that. What gives?

Had a user report via email that BitDefender reported the same error. Can you please report this as a false positive to F-secure and Avast.

I ran the ModuleCollection1.dll against 55 different virus checkers and these 6 showed false positives:

Emsisoft Gen:Variant.Symmi.3300 (B) 20140906
Ad-Aware Gen:Variant.Symmi.3300 20140906
BitDefender Gen:Variant.Symmi.3300 20140906
F-Secure Gen:Variant.Symmi.3300 20140906
GData Gen:Variant.Symmi.3300 20140906
MicroWorld-eScan Gen:Variant.Symmi.3300 20140906

If you're getting this error, please report this directly to the anti-virus company.

FYI, I used this site to test: https://www.virustotal.com

Thanks.

Yeah, i have been there before. The AV people will first blame the software author not writing the signatures or check logic good enough. I will take it to F-secure anyhow.

Update: I re-compiled the ModuleCollection1.dll, and now it's OK. Will post a new release later today or tomorrow.

This build resolved BitDefender 2014 incorrect detection as reported earlier via email.

Thanks.
