Transport Muxer Error, packet data buffer is full on 427

I have uploaded the .LOG file to rontop in the folder "packet data buffer full". I can save the output to mpeg but not to TS.

Thanks,

Ron

By the way, this happens even on a file that I have previously saved as MPEG with VRD and am trying to save as TS. I thought that was strange.

When I had this problem, changing the Output Mux Rate (in the transport Stream output section) to "automatic" with Samples to 16 made it work again.

Same solution here (as zaphod's). I tried to find my original problem thread, but I can't seem to get this forum's "Search" function to work!!!

Its working now. We didn't realize we needed to manually reindex the entire database after converting from the previous board.

Transport Muxer Error : Packet Data Buffer is Full on 445

This happened to me again today on version 445. Did something get re-broken?

I have version 445 as well and am getting the error. I have an mpg file and am trying to save to a TS and changing the bitrate from the original to 10Mbps and it's not working. I also get the "Mpeg stream error: Transport Muxer Error, packet data buffer is full."

Chumbo, Please enable the diagnostics option on the Tools>Options>Stream page and then re-do your save. After you get the error, send your log file to us at support@videoredo.com as an attachment.

If you are saving as a transport stream, why are you changing the MPEG header bit rate? That's typically used when saving a higher-bit rate to a program stream that will be used to author a DVD.

I will do that in the next day or so.

I was doing that just to see the impact on the file size if any. I have a TS file that should be half the size it is after stripping null packets. The only difference between it and the other TS files, is that this one has an almost 18Mbps bit rate and the others are just over 8Mbps.

The size obviously fluctuates based on content, but the difference here is too much.

Thanks for the tip, three files did this today. Increasing samples to 12 got rid of the error. Vrd b485 did crash each time the error occured.
