Hi,
has anyone experienced TMPGenc DVD author 2.0 rejecting files on the grounds of too high a bitrate at simulation stage ?
Up as far as the current Videoredo upgrade, I have had no problems, but since the upgrade, which gives a volume level adjustment feature (most useful), using it to increase the volume level on files captured from a betamax vcr I purchased; the saved files, having first been quickstream fixed, then edited perhaps, are being rejected as such. The warning says'the current bitrate 9864 exceeds the dvd standard of9848 and may not play on all devices.
Pat at Videoredo suppport suggested using a bitrate setting of 10 in the options box accessible in the save window when doing a 'save as'. Seemed to work on first problem files, but now I have one that gets rejected after this.
I had a project with 4 files, on their own TMPG accepted them, then feeling all was ok, I created a project with them all, and at simulation stage met the rejection message for one of them.
Whats the solution, are others experiencing this. I had no problems until I came to use the volume level adjust.
