FADE is SUPER useful! Very glad to see it arrive. BUT...

Can't it be two checkboxes (fade-in/fade-out) on the SAVE dialouge. Its an occasional use thing for me, and its really not friendly to have to

mouse: tools
mouse: options
mouse: titles
mouse: fade option
mouse: OK

for every change in need. And, sometimes I might want just one side of the file with fade.

I personally don't see it as a 'program' option, but as a 'current file' option, ya know?

I have not managed to get transitions to work at all as I mostly require the sound to fade as well as the video. When I've tried and then load it back into VRD it comes up with "No Audio Stream Found", so I still have to use other software. It would make sense to be able to edit by dragging across the frames which highlights them either at the beginning or end on the main editing screen then right click with option fade video, audio or both.

I've noticed some files not having any audio when I was testing encodes (source file the same always).
But have not taken the time to try to track it down as to what setting causes that. (MPG to MP4-X264)
Might have been something with the Profile. I was testing with a Profile for each change.

Previous version 6-808 there were definitely some Profile settings that had no effect with a "saving" Profile change.
Have not tested to see if the latest beta version fixed it or not.

Definitely agree with Transitions being moved to a Profile option when you are saving the file.

Having transition settings in the profile is currently a Pro only option.

Listen, I'm on your side... BUT -

are you really arguing that an EASY TO USE fade is something only the PROS need or deserve? Logical and efficient usage has always been REDO's strength. Let TMPGEnc enjoy the market share that loves unnecessary mouse strokes and tabs.
