Some WTV Files Don't Play or Process Properly in VRD

This has happened 3X to me recently so I/m assuming something is wrong with VRD. Occasionally, I try to process WTV files and they play fast / choppy in VRD, and they can't be successfully processed. I am attaching a screenshot of the summary but the log file is over 4Mb. I have two files available, and I can chop them to whatever size you tell me since they don't play right from the very beginning. BTW, they play perfectly in WMC with absolutely no issues whatsoever. Please advise on what you need relating to this issue.

A trimmed WTV file uploaded for thread 34715 and an email has been sent. This is now more serious than I thought. EVERY program I recorded last night (in HiDef) is now doing this. No HiDef WTV files play correctly anymore in this latest beta version. Interestingly, all LoDef files play normally.

Thanks will check it out ASAP. I recently switched from Tivo to MCE/WTV for network broadcasts, mostly to give WTV editing a more through workout.

Thanks, and yes I absolutely love Windows 7/8 Media Center. You will never look back after switching since MC is absolutely one of the best things Microsoft has ever done. My machine even goes in and out of hibernation reliably to successfully record any two HD shows at a time. Then I use VRD to remove commercials and process for my WIN 8 Surface. So please make things work again for MC WTV files. I would be absolutely lost without that capability. Thank you.

Unfortunately MCE has been discontinued by Microsoft and the development team reassigned, so it's likely that Windows 8 is the last version that will have MCE as an option and we'll never see any fixes or improvements. :(

Sorry to hear about the fate of MCE. Let's hope it keeps working as well as it currently does! In response to the question from JMRDV, I exclusively use Metrocast cable.
