Reproducable crash with 427

I have uploaded files to directory rontop, but I'm not sure you will need them. I uploaded the registry key in case settings contribute to the problem, and a file that I used to reproduce using the following.

Here is how I cause an access violation in VRD every time.

1) Close VRD if it is open
2) Open VRD
3) Select QSF from the dropdown menu (do NOT open a file first.)
4) Select a TS
5) Enable Filters
6) Save as PS

This crashes my 427 right away. If I save as MPEG, it does not crash. If I open the file first in VRD, it does not crash. It might also do this if you QSF an MPEG, but always only if saving to PS.

Hope this helps to find this one.

Ron, what's a PS?

I thought you meant a Program Stream, which is an .mpg or .mpeg file. :?

I could not get it to crash.

EDIT: I got VRD to crash by saving as a TS (Transport Stream)! The original .ts file was 720x480.

TS output from QSF will crash in Build 427 if you don't have a video file open. Its part of a new check to insure that you don't save LPCM audio to a TS stream.

Will get it fixed. In the meantime, make sure you have a file, any file, open before QSFing to a TS file.
