QSF Hangs on certain GoPro files

I am getting a few GoPro files from colleagues in which the last video frame is truncated, so it causes problems in nonlinear editors, and must be trimmed or quantized manually.
I hoped VideoRedo would be able to detect and close the last frame properly, but instead Quickstream Fix just hangs with a yellow exclamation point.
A sample of the source media is here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/11IJZbIZKtP4D--su_OCjuL-ZZS5I0FMw/view?usp=sharing
The logfile ends abruptly:

Check the file in MediaInfo. I'm guessing it's got variable frame rate. Unfortunately VRD can not handle VFR videos.

That is the very first thing we checked. The file is 29.970 Constant Frame Rate.
Again, the problem is the very last frame, which is truncated, therefore unquantized.
Feel free to check it for yourself via the Drive link I have provided.

What kind of audio does it have? Sometimes 44.1kHz audio can cause an issue if it's in an MKV file. This is because MKV files only store millisecond time stamps which don’t actually have enough resolution to represent 44.1kHz audio. We try to guess the proper timestamps in this case, but it's not 100% accurate and can sometimes cause issues.

We are able to correct the problem in Vegas (NLE) by quantizing or trimming the last frame.
There may be something in this comment that will help you understand the problem.

It is that the file is locking up and aborting VideoRedo 6 that is concerning me, if that wasn't clear.
Audio is 48k stereo AAC-LC.

The file is still there on Google Drive for you to play with; eagerly awaiting you outcome.

OK just offering common suggestions. For a problem like this you're going to have to email support. DanR will need to investigate the issue and he doesn’t always read the forum. So you'll need to email him at support.
