Plus version is enough just for commercial editing?

Just want to clarify, if I just want to use ad-detective, to edit ads and make a new .TS, plus should be fine?

Is there any limitation to ad detective or the editing process?

At least, I guess it depends on the type of video in your stream. If it is encoded in H.264 (somehow related to HD content), Plus is not sufficient from what I know (it does not support "H.264 / AVC / AVC-HD"):

Additionally, it does not support either DVB subtitles (teletex or image-based). But it depends if it is important to you...

I see there are a lot of limits, I am pretty sure all my recordings are mpeg2, looks like I would be ok, $100 is hard to swallow for the tv suite, at least for me.
