Following a rebuild of my laptop software, good old CyberLink PowerProducer (OEM software bundled with my Acer laptop) is now unable to find a DVD drive to write videos to. I get the message in the subject heading. Other applications are happy to write to the DVD drive, but not CyberLink.

I realise that this is a bit off-topic, but I've searched the internet in vain for an answer. Any suggestions for resolving this problem are most welcome.

CANCEL ==> it's sorted itself out somehow. It can now see the DVD writer. Godknows how. Fingers crossed it will stay that way.
