Nice Surprise...Audio question

I was very surprised to get the announcement about the TV Suite.
Video ReDo is the easiest and quite franky the only way I have found to edit my TV Land marathoins :) Great job.

I am looking forward to using TV Suite but I noticed that the Audio section pretty much is the same as Video ReDo.

I would really love to see some more options here as I have some older videos that not only have a low volume level but have a lot of backround noise as they were recorded on a non VHS Hi-Fi unit.

It would be great to be able to have some sort of DirectX plug in capability or something that would help removiing noise. The only other way to possibly do this is to extract the audio then edit it in another program and then bring it back into the original video. Having something in the main program to enhance the audio would really fantastic.

Thanks for your continued work on this fun program!

I will definitely give this a try.
So basically I can browse to a specific DirectX plug in and it shoudl work?
Also it looks like this is just a one plug in at a time feature..correct?
I would like to use the noise reduction program with a volume maximizer ;<)

I will test my resilts and let you know.
Thanks again,

"Crash"
I tried loading the Audio Restoration Express plug in from Vegas 7 and on trying to load the TV Suite I got a Crash generating a Dr Watson log ;<(

How can I undo the setting and try again?

Figured out a way.
I just went into the DLL and renamed it and the program launched just fine.

Looks like it does not like all DirectX plug ins.
Winamp seems to have a little different interface or something.
I will try looking at some Winamp specific DLLs and try those.

Thanks,
Simeon

Only Winamp plug-ins. No directx plug-ins. But that might be a good thing to support. We will look into it.

Getting there.

Well,
I tried a couple of the plug ins and this is a great feature to have!
I just need to go through some more of the available plug ins to see which one is the most suitable.

Thanks for adding this!
Having full DirectX plug in support would be nice as well but this is a great to have until then.

Thanks Dan,
That would be great.

I am going down the list to try a few of the ones you linked to to see which one would work the best.

Dan,
I had some problems posting (thanks Anole).

DirectX support would be great (and I would be a good volunteer tester).
I will go through the list to see if I can find a suitable plug in for what I need to do.

Thanks again,
