During install I get the "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000009a)" msg. I "ok" out of it & set-up install continues but then when I try to run I get "The program can't start because MPEGEncoderDLL.dll is missing" etc.

I had no problems before with installation?

Can somebody pls help me? Thanks.

Sorry, Win7-64. I reinstalled the official V5 version & it installed fine. But the 757b beta is being a dick with me.

Sounds like your anti-virus is blocking that file. Try temporarily disabling the anti-virus or excluding the 757 installation folder.

Yep that's exactly what happened, I found the MPEGEncoderDLL.dll file quarantined by Avira.

Thanks for your help! :)

Sorry to resurrect this, but is there any way to stop Avira from deleting this dll from the beta version? It doesn't happen with the "official stable" version, just the beta. I thought I had excluded the dll but when I installed the new beta it did it again!? So annoying.

Thanks Dan! Unfortunately the same thing is happening with the latest beta 759a. Avira (free) is deleting the MPEGEncoderDLL.dll file. I can't even find it in quarantine to restore it? I re-installed the current stable 748a and no problems at all. Any ideas?

Thanks, yes it's a limitation of Avira Free, quite arrogant of them to strip the necessary customizing tools out of the free edition. Time to move on to another anti-virus I think.

No error on VideRedo's behalf! :)
