.mts File not Playing Correctly in v5

I have a .mts file that plays with no problems in v4 and can be edited without issues in v4.

In v5, the file plays at 2x speed. If I attempt an edit, there is no sound in the output file. Quick Stream Fix also results in a file with no sound. The only fix in v5 is to use Trim & Copy to remove a couple of MB from the beginning of the file.

VideoReDo has problems with most .mts files that I attempt to open (VRD often crashes), but this is the first time I found one that worked in v4 but not v5.

If anyone wants to see what I mean, I linked the video below. I can upload for Support if requested.

Ah, OK. Just their file naming convention for their files.

I downloaded the file and weird. V5 shows that the frame rate is correct, i.e., 59.94 fps, but it most certainly pays at twice that frame rate.

VLC gets it right. As you said, V4 does as well, even though both versions display the same info (Ctrl-L). I used tsMucer to remux to a TS file (I know, it is already a TS file) and V5 had no issue with that. Something in the MTS file is throwing V5 off.

The guys are definitely going to have to look at that one.

The situation is worse. I just tried to open a Blu-ray m2ts file (not encrypted) and V5 screwed up royally, in that it complained about out-of-memory and refused to quit. I had to kill it.

V4, on the other hand, opened the file without any hitches.

Uploaded. I realize that PVR occasionally creates a corrupt .mts file. But in this case it seemed odd that the file would be compatible with my PC media player and v4, but not v5.

It happened again with today's recording. However, Trim & Copy didn't fix it this time. I'll have to edit it with v4.
