Strange. A few days ago I loaded a 3 hr MPEG-2 TS file and had no issues with it at all. I load 2 hr TS files all the time, at 30-40 Mbps bitrate as well.

Cheers for 609b, seems us VRD+ folks haven't seen a lot of love this year but I look forward to testing this out!

Agreed - a wonderful program backed by a great team

I'll never make the expert level that some of this group is already at, but it's nice that the many take time to help now and again. I really appreciate.

after using without problem for several years, my videoredo tvsuite v4 recently stopped working. with microsoft alleging an apparent "program compatibility" problem. dan worked seemingly around the clock for 10 days to fix the problem. i was about to give up, but he didn't. Finally came up with a beta vsn that restored my VRD workability. Great job. VRD, in my opinion, is the best video editor (and converter) on the market. Keep jup the good work!

H.264 streams: multi-audio stream support.

H264 Editing - 4.20.6.621
[Enhancement] H.264 streams: Added multi-audio stream support...

A year ago I asked for this feature, now its real! Awesome! :D

Tested with V4_624a trimming large h.264 DVB-S2 streams (~12GB, 2+hrs) with up to 4 audio streams. Works like a charm!
A major step forward! Congratulations!

Next please:
Smart editing, i.e. cut and join scenes seamlessly, without pixelations!
Against all odds, YOU can do it!

Praise for VideoReDo TV Suite

Hello Everyone

I have been using VideoReDo on and off over the last 3 months and on the whole it is the best editor of video streams I can find. Yes, we all have some issues and bugs that need resolving but the tect support is one the best I have received for a software product, long may it continue!
I work for Sky and we are using the editor to trim and test streams, the stream analyser we use is made by Interra Vega and this is very complex piece of software ($15,000) but even Interra cannot edit (it is supposed to) the way that VideoRedO can and with frame accuracy for SD and HD streams.
I have tested 14 different stream editors on the market and some of these are expensive to buy but not one except VideoReDo can do everything we need. The best feature of VideoReDo is that editing is simple to use and very accurate.
:)

I typed this under my problem resolution of Pixelly Mosaic problem but I wanted to repeat it here.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU! 628 is absolutely fantastic! Not only is pixellation gone, but slider delay is also gone! And I even threw a WTV file in it with some sort of corruption that MCTV Converter couldn't handle, but this version did beautifully! As far as I'm concerned, this version is as perfect as I need one to be. I am keeping it for posterity in case new issues creep in future updates! Again many thanks for a company supporting one of its user minions! You guys are the best!

Thanks. I've put a lot of effort into WTV over the last month. I'm glad it shows. :)

Although I don't use WTV files, navigation of H264 .ts files is much improved in 628, in the past I used to switch off thumbnails when editing H264 because of updating delays and hangups, now it works a dream and is much quicker to use thank you for the good work.
p.s. It would be nice to have h264 edit preview implemented.

Thanks.

This product just keeps on working well for me ... day in, day out. Editing TV captures is now just such a breeze.

Well, now that Pat has "hooked me up" so I'm a member, I'll put in my 2 cents.

I WAS using Nero for my video editing -- I don't remember having a loss of audio sync, but after getting mad once too many times at the "Are you REALLY the owner of this software" type of message, I swore off Nero.

VideoReDo ought to be inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame if only for the audio/video synchronization it provides -- really guys, is there ANY other s/w that does this? Womble, Premiere Pro...any? I would really like to know.

The other major reason VRD is wonderful is that it accepts Tivo files -- I bought the s/w originally to take out the commercials in "Car 54 Where Are You" episodes for my father. :D

Here's my TiVo workflow:

1) Auto-download with TiVo Desktop all episodes of a series I care about
2) Scan for commercials in VRD
3) Manually check each cut point
4) Save new TiVo file
5) Pull the edited file back onto the TiVo

Now watch your favorite episodes commercial free. :D Kudos indeed!

I have been using only VRD for 3 years now.......... it's great software which is forever evolving and has equally good support............ Kudos Indeed........... Keep up the good work.

I use it for some tv shows and to grab individual music videos from 10 hours of (mostly) recorded garbage.

My 2 cents

Yeah, I'll add my voice to the yay-rah chorus. QuickstreamFix is quite simply amazing, and the frame-accurate editing is fabulous. Like everyone else, I'd also like more audio features--I'd really, really like waveform-editing capability just so I can blank out foul language in otherwise unobjectionable movies and watch them with my kids without losing video--but hey, what a fabulous app already, and what great support.

It's a great program, no doubt about it. I was using a freeware program before the h.264 version came out, but VideoRedo is definitely worth paying for.

I'll chime in and say that VRD gets used more than any video tool I own. After several years, it is still going strong.

hey, bought VRD 1 week ago after trialling it for 3 days (didnt need to trial it any longer than that)

i have basically now got 1 tool for doing everything, rather than having 3 or 4 open source programs to do what i can now do in VRD.

only issue is with a bunch of WMV files i downloaded, VRD refuses to import them citing them as elementary streams, so i used my trusty handbrake to convert them to mp4.

i love the presets options where i can create custom profiles for different types of outputs making it so much easier.

i never complain about paying $100 for this program, and like to thank DanR & Dan203 for all their help.

keep up the great work.
