Installing more than one version of VRD

Is it possible to install more than one version of VRD at one time?

I'd like to try out the latest beta, but would rather be able to keep my "standard" release 445 for "production" work and for reference.

If I was to install a beta version into a different folder than the existing version, would the installer delete the existing version anyway? Would file associations be consistent (pointing to either the original one or the new version, but not a mixture of both)? I assume that registry settings would be shared by the two, but settings in .ini files wouldn't.

Does anyone do this, or is the whole idea a non-starter?

I have a development system that I could use for a beta, but I assume that licensing rules wouldn't allow this - is this correct?

Thanks

You can install the Beta to a different folder and both will coexist on your computer. The currently installed version will not be deleted.
