I believe that Subtitles are "pass through" only.

Try .mp4 or other type. Not all file types will keep the subtitles
and they will be stripped out.

Use VideoReDo, it doesn't pass subtitles though when editing .mkv files - unfortunately.

If somehow you have made it do this, save as .mp4 as suggested above, which doesn't (officially) support subtitle streams.

If you want to remove them from existing files, try MKVToolnix which will allow you to untick the subtitle stream and re-stream the rest to a new file, only takes seconds. However, very few viewers default to showing subtitles so it's rarely necessary, VLC does but it's simple to disable it and much easier than removing them.

Thanks for answers.

I already removing subtitle with re-muxing with mkvtoolnix after editing in VideoRedo.

But i hope in next versions videoredo starts work with subtitles too.

Interesting. Never considered that anyone would like to remove subtitles. I'll look at adding an option to the Advanced section to exclude subtitles.

Has a patch been added to remove dvb subtitles from .mkv to VRD5 or 6?
If you convert to a different container format that does not support dvb subtitles they will be removed.
.mp4 maybe. Try and find out. It is not something I have to deal with myself so vaguely remember.

.mp4 does not support EAC3.
Only .mkv - please add the option to choose what will be added to the .mkv container.

MKV doesn't support DVB subtitles either. I tried to make it work at one point, which is where I think this thread came from, but it never did and I'm pretty sure I removed the code. Even though MKV can technically support any format the only widely supported subtitle formats for MKV are DVD subs (image based) and SRT (text based) neither of which we even support in VideoReDo.

As for removing an audio stream.... you can already do that. Just select the Advanced radio button above the audio options.

I have subtitles and display in .mkv

Is it possible to set when saving from .ts to .mkv - VRD to leave only one image, one audio? No dvb subtitles as in the picture above.
