HEVC Profile

#1
I started with a *.*.wtv recording and ran it thru mce buddy, output as an HEVC 265 video. Now I wish to edit out the commercials using videoredo and keep the hevc 265. I believe I made the right profile. I would like to know what I should have my settings on. I ran v6 and cut out the parts but v6 crashed when I attempted to save, twice. Am I doing this in the right order and or do I have an incorrect setting?
Thanks,
JIM

Hello. I downloaded the new file. I remuxed the file, it had no edits needed. I setup the destination directory in the profile. After I ran v6, the file was not appearing in the destination directory. I searched and looked elsewhere but not found. I tried again but same result. Let me know what corrections to make or what to do next. Thanks.

Try saving the file again, but this time on the file save dialog look closely at the default folder and see where it's saying the file is being saved. Maybe we aren't picking up default destination folder correctly.

I found the rendered file. It had rendered into the computers root directory, the same drive where file was recorded to. I went thru saving again and I looked for an directory option but it did not appear that I could select or change destination directory. The destination directory was still correct in the profile but not sent there. Resulting file was very good. Thanks, JIM.

An update. I uninstalled v6, reinstalled now using hardware encoder and v6 crashes when loading a file. Back to software encoder and v6 crashes also when loading file. v5 working fine but no hevc.

Can't find the link. The one posted is https://videoredo.net//beta/VRDTVS-6-4-85-791c.exe. Will run it as soon as you fix for us.
Thanks,

Oops, had it all posted last evening, but I see now that the changes didn't take. 792 should be ready now.

I am now having a new and different failure with v6. With v6, the mp4 loads, and I toggle ad-detective scan and v6 gets to working. It appears to be working, then it stops, shows a yellow exclamation mark, and gives the following error message......."LargeBufferMalloc: no more memory".
Thanks,
JIM
