Help - missing codec?

i don't know what I've done, I think I might have deleted my mpeg codec or something.

DivX player, Real Player and Windows Media Player no longer play Mpeg video files. Windows eventually does, but without sound. If you try to stop it, it just crashes. DivX player just crashes without playing anything.

Nero Showtime plays mpeg files and VideoReDo is still working.

I have reinstalled DivX player and WMP but my files still won't play in them. Anyone know where I can get the mpeg codec from?

You can see which codecs WMP uses to play files by clicking on File>Properties once the MPEG is loaded into WMP. That will give you a clue as to what needs to be reinstalled.
