Fixing timeline in M2TS recording from an HD-PVR

I installed the latest driver (1.6.29207)for my Hauppauge HD-PVR and now I am getting corrupted timeline in my M2TS recordings. For example if I record a 2 hour show, the recording only shows a few minutes in the playback timeline and it still plays back 2 hours when I let it play from beginning to end. Trying to FF is impossible in any player. Would your software be able to run through the recording and fix this issue?

All of them since I installed the latest driver. They do mention the error on their website has being corrected in the latest driver for their Colossus product but not for the HD-PVR. I sent an email to Hauppauge support with no answer yet.

I tried Tsmuxer but I get an error trying to open the file. I tried TSDoctor too and it found errors but I can't figure out how to use the program to fix them. My next step is to try VideoReDo QuickScan function to see if it would fix it.

Ok Phew! I think I got it going. First I used Ts Doctor to do it's magic and save a new file, then I used tsMuxeR to demux and remux the M2TS file and voila problem fixed, the file has the right length and it plays properly. This whole thing should be easier to do!

I have been using HD-PVR for several years now and always record to .ts with no problems what so ever. Have you tried recording to .ts?
