Astra 28.2 E has started test transmissions in Ultra High Definition

Unfortunately VRD cannot open recordings made from these tests.
Is there any Future developments planned to be able to edit these files in VRD ?
I ask as it seems possible for this to be the standard for future Satellite UHD broadcasts.

VideoReDo doesn't yet support HEVC. We are working on it.

Do you wish to save as HEVC or convert to H.264?

Thanks Dan
It am looking to the future, I would like to keep in original format. The source is labelled as H265 on the satellite data(210 H.265) What is the relationship between HEVC and H265?

HEVC is the consumer/friendly name for H.265. Same as AVC was the friendly name for H.264.
