thanx 4 the info. how is DMF3? i only used DVD Workshop 2 and it sucked. i mean the program and all is fantastic and easy to use with motion menus n such. but what is all the good stuff if the end result, the written dvd, is out of sync though the movies were in sync at the beginning?
I'm wondering if there's an interaction problem with MF2&3 and VideoReDo for PAL programs. I know from PHD, myself, and others that MF2&3 works great on VideoReDo files here in NTSC land. However, I've had a few compliants in the last 2 months about MF sync from PAL folks. There weren't many compliants, so I haven't pursued it, but it might be indicative of something.
You had previously sent me some PAL material to troubleshoot for someone else and I believe I had made it into a DVD without any audio sync problems. That's why I thought maybe if the "both" option were enabled, it might make a difference. But if you've got some other source material for me to try, I'll give it a shot.
1. Record the DigiTV programme as normal.
2. Use PVAStrumento to create a PS with a packet size of 2048 – just load the file into the pink box and click Make PS.
3. The new file goes wherever you asked PVAStrumento to put it and the whole process only takes a few minutes.
These PS files often play well in Windows Media Player and have always worked in DVD Movie Factory 3 creating DVDs in PAL format here in the UK.
