I am being notified of a beta release of 681 but when I attemp to download it is showing as 674b.
Is it just my imagination or is a link cross wired?

I messed up the file name on the download page. Should be OK now.

Also, 681 technically isn't a beta but an "official" release. There's no V4 beta at the present time.

Thanks DanR
I keep back versions and wasn't sure.
But, then again, each new version just gets better.

Thanks Again

I just opened VideoReDo TVSuite as I have for years. I downloaded the update for 681 and installed it as I have with all previous updates.
I immediately ran into a problem with it not wanting to accept the same DVDs that I have been ripping for years. It says that the "Folder does not contain a valid .IFO file".
So, I tried to rip a DVD that I just ripped a few days ago with no problems. Now I cannot rip it with this new update.

Until this is resolved, can I just uninstall VideoReDo TVSuite and reinstall it as long as I have the original purchase information? Or is there a better way to uninstall just this latest update, 681?

Thanks,
Steve

Yes, If you have the original install file, simply do an uninstall / re-install.

I'll ask support to check this out. This is the first we've heard of this and this version has been in beta for a number of months.

Sorry that I didn't try out the beta earlier. I've been an active user of this software for several years. For my church, I convert their sermon-DVDs into files that can be uploaded to YouTube and our website. That's how I know that there must be an issue with this latest update. Nothing has changed in our DVDs. And in fact, I found that one that I had just ripped a few days ago now will NOT let me access it with this update. I'll go ahead and uninstall / re-install. And I will confirm to you if that corrects the problem. Obviously, if the problem remains there is some other "thing" causing it.

Thanks for your timely response.

Dan, I don't know what cause the problem. But, after I uninstalled the program and re-installed the previous version, I again installed this latest update (681). And this time everything works perfectly as always. So, I do not think the problem was with VideoReDo TVSuite at all. Sorry for the false alarm.
