The release notes say that the muxing should now be fixed. I noticed that it inidcated the problem was fixed for audio that is longer than the video.

I think a point got missed in the original thread in that the audio is SHORTER than the video, especially when I move the audio 600 ms toward the beginning of the video. In this case, the audio should be filled in with frames that VRD as set aside, i.e., silent DD5.1 AC3, to fill in what is missing. I do not know what VR4 does, as it doesn't fail there.

A related error is that if the completed file is drag-n-dropped onto VRD, it will not completely open. This is the VRD that is still open after clicking on abort after getting the YTOD. The screen looks like THIS.

As a side note, the installer stills resets my skin selection.

I was editing an ABC network feed, using a personal profile and the first couple of extractions were fine. But the 3rd and 4th extractions resulted in the YTOD. No muxing in this case.

I'm beginning to believe that it is a resource issue, for both the muxing and plain editing. I think it is why I'm getting +62k PTS errors. I've done a bunch of testing and have one more test to do before posting a complete report. I have to do some more sat captures, then I'll do the final test.

Yep, I believe the muxing is resource related as well as a regular edit project.

But, the resource issue is related to a profile that I have. When I use the normal H.264 TS profile, the project, with the edits, has no PTS errors. If I then use the special profile, it too has no issues. I just can't edit out commercials and use the special profile.

As this won't affect anyone else, I'll take this off-list via PM.

The exception is the muxing YTOD, which does use the normal H.264 TS profile.
