    Batch VPRJ Cutting not working?

Confirmed that it works! Thanks! Was that by design or is it a bug to be fixed?

    Batch VPRJ Cutting not working?

Just did an series of sanity checks and I think I found the source of the frustration. On a fresh PC, I installed TVS V6 with the current beta 810. I have a mpg file and a vprj file with cuts defined. I open the vprj file and save video as Program Stream, so it should be a Fast Frame Copy...

    Batch VPRJ Cutting not working?

I am saving my edits to vprj files and then queuing the vprj files. My source files are .mpg or .mp4 files, NOT .TiVo, and my resulting output is the same as the inputs, no cuts were done. In the past (and with older versions), I would make edits on .tivo files to save them to .vprj, then...

    Batch VPRJ Cutting not working?

Hi - I don't know if I'm missing something in V6 but when I run a number of VPRJs through batch processing, the cuts I defined in each project does not happen, and I would just get a copy of the source. My workflow is to mass convert .TiVo files into program stream (.mpg or .mp4) to remove...

    V4 vs V5 / V6 Stability?

Yes i do, but it may a long time to close and actually exit, so I would usually kill task from the task manager, which (I'm sorry) is not helpful to you than if I had left it alone. I noted a few bugfixes that would affect me so I will give it a try. Thank You!

    V4 vs V5 / V6 Stability?

In V6, when a recording hangs i.e. 99% complete, but there is no processor / disk activity for over 15 minutes, I'll have to assume the item failed to convert, so I would click on the X to cancel processing. I would see the failed item move to the completion log, but nothing seems to happens...

    V4 vs V5 / V6 Stability?

Almost half way into converting 258 .tivo files into mpg / .mp4 and no problems. If I was running this with V6, I would have gotten a hang 15 files in and would need to kill the process. Perhaps it's a different library used in V4 that V6 (and v5) no longer uses? That could account for the...

    V4 vs V5 / V6 Stability?

This is the result from 2 files that hung in V5 / V6, but V4 completed:

    V4 vs V5 / V6 Stability?

I've been a longtime user of VideoRedo as I've had a TiVo since 2001 and needed a tool to edit downloaded videos. Ever since I upgraded to V5, i've experienced frequent crashes as with other users. These got fewer as I installed updates. I upgraded to V6 earlier this week hoping the problems...

Large File / Long Recording Chopped Off?

OK it looks like VRD is Correct!!! As a sanity check, I had the same file play back in VRD and WMP in real time starting this afternoon. After they got in sync, over the 7 hours of playback, both players drifted apart by about 15 seconds. But at the end of 7 hours, the WMP playback stopped...

Large File / Long Recording Chopped Off?

Yes the file went through QSF and was played back in both VRD and MPC-HC / Windows Media Player. But if you're interested, I've loaded up the original .tivo file, the QSF-ed .tivo file, and the converted .mpg up on my Synology NAS at this link: http://gofile.me/6xbpg/NN9W2mGAG Each file is...

Large File / Long Recording Chopped Off?

That did not take too long - I walked away to make lunch it went offsync: I paused VideoReDo and tried to bring MPC-HC back in-sync by going Forward: Unscientifically, 45 minutes elapsed in Real Time (based on screen capture times) and in MPC-HC, but only 36 minutes elapsed in...

Large File / Long Recording Chopped Off?

I'm linking 2 screen captures here on the SAME VideoReDo-generated mpg file: It took a while to get both to play and sync. Note that the program length in VideoRedo length is 6:39:45 and the program length in the CCCP Media Player (and also Windows Media Player, and Windows Explorer)...

Large File / Long Recording Chopped Off?

I have this set up on an isolated Win10 Pro machine with Tivo Desktop, VideoReDo, and the CCCP Codec pack if there is a need to remote control to diagnose the problem. Thank You!

Large File / Long Recording Chopped Off?

I've been a longtime user of VideoReDo since version 2.x and used that to download off a DirecTiVo. For a recent live event, I created a manual recording that is is 10 hours long, and downloaded it using Tivo Desktop, lets call it liveconcert.tivo. Once I open up liveconcert.tivo in VideoRedo...
